Youth Equipped for the Future
Through our Hope Innovators program, we have supported young people with practical skills training, mentorship, and startup capital to help them build sustainable livelihoods.
Dina is one of them. A young entrepreneur with a passion for knitting, she used her training and support to start producing school sweaters. Today, she supplies over 24 schools, is saving to expand her business, and is training other girls in knitting. Her biggest challenge now is that demand has outgrown her two knitting machines.
Joseph, at 17, was at risk of dropping out of school due to limited opportunities in his village. Through Hope Innovators, he received business skills training and learned farming techniques at Kalonga Care Farm. Today, he earns an income from poultry farming and is now mentoring younger boys in his community.
