3 GIFTS OF CHANGE
Wrap Up Your Year with Impact: Partner with Us This Holiday Season
Every December, Hope & Care steps up to support local families navigating financial hardship, isolation, and crisis. But we cannot do it alone. This holiday season, we invite you to transform a life by giving for Today, Tomorrow, or Beyond—from immediate holiday relief to long-term economic independence.
Whether you are a family wanting to spread holiday cheer, a corporation looking to invest in the future workforce, a faith group or an individual looking to make a lasting change, your perfect partnership is below. Which gift will you give?
The Gift of Today
Festive Food & Toys
Bring immediate relief, dignity, and holiday magic to a local family navigating financial crisis, isolation, or hardship right now. The holidays bring immense emotional pressure to parents who cannot afford a special meal or gifts for their children. Your gift ensures that no child wakes up to an empty living room, and no family goes without a proper holiday celebration.
- $25 (Sponsor a Complete Family Festive Basket.): Provides a local family of four with a full holiday dinner hamper, pantry groceries, and wrapped toys for the children.
- $1,000 (Sponsor a Neighbourhood Delivery Route): Funds the assembly and direct delivery of festive baskets to 40 struggling households in a high-need area.
The Gift of Tomorrow
Child Literacy & Education
Give a lasting gift that outlasts the holiday season. Help a vulnerable child unlock their potential by learning to read, write, and count.
A child who falls behind in early literacy and numeracy faces a lifelong uphill battle. Your sponsorship funds targeted tutoring, essential school supplies, learning materials, and literacy programs that run throughout the upcoming year.
- $10 / Month (or $120 One-Time): Sponsor a Child’s Learning Journey. Fully covers a vulnerable child’s literacy and math support, books, and learning tools for the entire school year.
- $1,000 (Sponsor a Classroom Literacy Kit): Equips a community learning center or classroom with modern reading books, writing materials, and educational games.
The Gift of Beyond
Skills & Employability
Empower the Next generation youth or an adult to break free from survival to flourishing. Fund vocational skills training, financial literacy, and job-readiness mentoring.
True prosperity happens when a family gains the power to earn a sustainable income. Your gift funds practical skills, entrepreneurship classes, workshops, and startup micro-grants for unemployed parents and youth.
- $60 (Individual): Funds a full entrepreneurship training course for one adult.
- $2,000 (Community Skills Cohort): Fully underwrites a 1-week entrepreneurship workshop for 35 locals looking to enter the workforce.
The Full Circle
An investment of $2000 allows you to completely transform a neighbourhood zone: it provides immediate holiday relief for 20 families, sponsors a full year of literacy for 10 children, and puts 10 adults through entrepreneurship training programs.
How do we track the impact?
We send custom impact reports in Q1 and Q2 of the new year, tracking the exact literacy milestones of the families, children and the entrepreneurship training workshops of the adults you funded.
