Every life touched by Hope&Care tells a story of God’s faithfulness and love. Behind every number is a face, a name, and a story of how hope and healing can rewrite the future. These stories remind us that transformation is possible when faith meets action.
A Widow’s Story of Resilience
Through the support of partners and the Healing Wings feeding program, Mary’s family received meals, counseling, and care during one of the hardest seasons of their lives. She was also given access to a quarter acre of land where she built a simple mud house and found stability for her children.
Her children joined our school, and today her eldest son, who was only nine years old at the time, has completed high school.
With a small grant through Hope Innovators, Mary later invested in seasonal farming, which now helps provide for her family, support her children’s education, and rebuild their future. Over time, she was able to acquire her own place and relocate her family.
